Staff are friendly and actually are knowledgeable! The prices are also fair
I have resolved myself that even if I find what I was looking for, is more expensive then I will buy it somewhere else. I cannot be bothered by a salesperson who would not even lift his arse to assist me. I was definately an interruption of his day, so we walked and decided to source it in Cpt and rather pay for service.
My wife and I had to get a key cut urgently ,so we set off from Kleinmond on route to Hermanus, only to find that the only option was to head for Build it. We had twenty minutes or so before doors closed, as my wife practically launched herself out of the car I shouted " tuck n` Roll"She made it in time, and was met by a miserable young chap who promptly informed her that they did not have any blanks available, without even looking at the key rack behind him.Then a huge sigh from the lad, closely followed by moaning about how cutting the key wasn't going to work out due to the fact that he would not getting paid overtime once the doors closed.
Great Service. Was help by 2 people. Adri & a short lady with redish hair. They were very friendly and helpful. All the other staff was also very friendlyGreat customer service.
The new design of the store is much better and products are more appropriately displayed, staff help is better than the other DIY stores
First time at store, no one offered to help, after 10min finally asked the lady at the main entrance door for assistance. The gas heater being advertised wasn’t available except the display model, I politely asked for a discount (standard practice when buying a product unboxed) was referred to “Elaine” who was seemed aggrieved by my request and that I wanted a “box” for the product, which she loudly voiced to another customer as she brushed me off. Insisting that the assistant find me a “box” (even though the lady said she had already looked) as they don’t do any discounts for unboxed items.I’m new to the area but definitely know the difference between professional customer service and just plain rude. Would strongly advise anyone putting customer service as a prerequisite when shopping to stay clear.
